Co organized RCOG Workshop on Male Infertility at Faridabad along with Dr Mala Arora.

Great speakers, Dr Rajiv Kumar from AIIMS, Dr Anjani, Dr Subramanium, Dr Neena malhotra.

Lot of light was shed and also the shadows were highlighted, how little we know on some of its aspects.

Well, the WHO new guideline states 15 mill/ml as cut off, but the total count is still around 40 mill.
Rajeev highlighted excellently on how to proceed with azoospermia- when to operate and when to offer IVF ICSI with sperm aspiration/extraction.
Erectile and ejaculatory disturbances were discussed.
The role of DNA fragmentation test and the medical management of Oligospermia was highlighted.

All in all a very academic, fruitful and well attented workshop!
